One of the most breathtaking landscapes in Patagonia. The excursion winds through mountain roads, forests and lakes to reach the majestic Cerro Tronador (3,555 m) and the striking Ventisquero Negro.
We skirt lakes Gutiérrez and Mascardi along Ruta 40 before turning onto the road that leads to Cerro Tronador. We visit the impressive Cascada los Alerces, a 20-metre waterfall on the Río Manso near lago Hess. We then cross the Río Manso towards Pampa Linda to take in the sweeping views of Cerro Tronador and its glaciers.
