About

What is AAETAV?

AAETAV is an organization that brings together tour operators and providers in Argentina's tourism sector. Its goal is to promote and defend the interests of the players in the ecosystem of companies dedicated to nature tourism in its various forms, to provide training, and to raise quality and safety standards in the tourism industry.

The Association joins forces with the leading organizations in Argentina and around the world for the structured development of the sector. The development of local communities is a core focus, since ecotourism and adventure tourism depend entirely on human capital and the protection of nature.

We define nature tourism as the combination of three key factors: physical activity, the natural environment and cultural experience, which together create a positive impact on people and local communities.
