1Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing and using the portal of the Asociación Argentina de Ecoturismo y Turismo Aventura (AAETAV), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, we ask that you do not use this portal or the services offered here.

AAETAV reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on this portal. Continued use of the site after modifications are published constitutes acceptance of them.

2Description of Services

The AAETAV portal offers the following services to its users:

• ▸Management of memberships and membership dues for active members.
• ▸Enrollment in and tracking of adventure tourism training courses.
• ▸Issuance and verification of training certificates with cryptographic validation.
• ▸Access to institutional documents, regulations and study materials.
• ▸Store for institutional products and apparel.
• ▸Institutional communications and informational newsletters.
• ▸Information about events, trade fairs and industry activities.

3Registration and User Accounts

To access certain features of the portal, users must create an account. By registering, the user agrees to:

• ▸Provide truthful, accurate and complete information.
• ▸Keep their personal and contact information up to date.
• ▸Keep their login credentials (username and password) confidential.
• ▸Notify AAETAV immediately of any unauthorized use of their account.
• ▸Be solely responsible for all activities carried out under their account.

AAETAV reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice and without any liability.

4Memberships and Payments

AAETAV memberships are annual and renew automatically unless the member expressly states otherwise. Membership dues are set according to the membership category (Active, Adherent, Honorary) and are approved each year by the Ordinary General Assembly.

Payments are processed through Mercado Pago. By paying a fee or enrollment, the user accepts the terms and conditions of that payment platform. In the event of a billing error, the user must report it to administracion@aaetav.org.ar within 30 days of the charge.

Refund policy: Membership dues are non-refundable. Course enrollments may be refunded up to 7 days before the start date, minus a 15% administrative fee. After that period no refunds will be issued, although the student may transfer their enrollment to another person with prior notice.

5Acceptable Use of the Portal

The user agrees NOT to:

• ✗Use the portal for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• ✗Attempt to access restricted sections without authorization.
• ✗Transmit malware, viruses or harmful code.
• ✗Reproduce, duplicate or redistribute content without the written authorization of AAETAV.
• ✗Collect data from other users without consent.
• ✗Interfere with the normal operation of the server or network.
• ✗Make commercial use of the portal's resources without express authorization.

6Intellectual Property

All content published on this portal —including text, images, logos, graphics, designs, videos, course materials and software— is the property of AAETAV or its content providers and is protected by the intellectual property laws of the Argentine Republic (Law 11,723 and amendments) and applicable international treaties.

Certificates issued by AAETAV are official documents whose forgery or alteration constitutes a crime under the Argentine Criminal Code. Each certificate includes a unique cryptographic verification code that allows its authenticity to be validated.

7Communications and Newsletter

By registering on the portal or explicitly subscribing, the user agrees to receive electronic communications from AAETAV. These communications may include:

• ▸Institutional newsletters with industry news.
• ▸Information about courses, events and activities.
• ▸Notifications about membership and payment status.
• ▸Official announcements from the institution.

8Limitation of Liability

AAETAV does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the portal and may suspend access for maintenance without any liability. The portal is provided "as is" and AAETAV is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the portal.

Information published on the portal is for guidance only. AAETAV does not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date at all times. For official information, the user should contact the institution directly.

9Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. For any dispute arising from the use of the portal or the relationship with AAETAV, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Ordinary Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
