About the experience
We experienced the annular eclipse at Parque Nacional Campos del Tuyú and made the most of the long weekend with birdwatching around the Samborombón area
📅 Day 1 – Arrival in General Lavalle
Journey from Buenos Aires
📅 Day 2 – Annular eclipse & Ría de Ajó
Transfer to the chosen observation point
Observation of the annular solar eclipse (over 7 minutes of annularity)
Boat trip along the Ría de Ajó in search of the pampas deer
📅 Day 3 – Camino del Palenque & Canal 2
Rural route: pampas canastero, southern screamer, snail kite
Afternoon at Canal 2, waterbirds
📅 Day 4 – Tapera de López & Puerto de San Clemente
Coastal walk, shorebirds and migratory species
Puerto de San Clemente: terns, herons, cormorants
📅 Day 5 – La Corvina & return
Final wildlife spotting at La Corvina
Return to Buenos Aires (estimated arrival mid-afternoon)
