About the experience

Four days based in Puerto Madryn and Península Valdés: boat-based whale watching for southern right whales at Puerto Pirámides, a guided walk among Magellanic penguins at Estancia El Pedral, elephant seals at Caleta Valdés and Punta Ninfas, and a traditional Patagonian lamb asado included.

4-day, 3-night 'Peninsula Valdés Sea Life' program based in Puerto Madryn.

  • Day 1: transfer from Trelew airport; optional visit to Playa El Doradillo with afternoon tea (July to October) or Cerro Avanzado with brunch (November and December).
  • Day 2: approximately 10-hour excursion through Península Valdés with a stop at Caleta Valdés and whale watching by boat (approx. 2 hours) from Puerto Pirámides; optional snorkeling with sea lions.
  • Day 3: Punta Ninfas and Estancia El Pedral, with a guided walk through the penguin colony nesting area, a traditional lamb asado lunch, and free time.
  • Day 4: transfer to the airport.
