About the experience
A full two-day experience at a Fuegian estancia with its owners: country meals, activities with animals, the century-old shearing shed, and a visit to the shipwrecked Desdémona.
One night at a Fuegian estancia, sharing in everything that happens there. The journey begins in Ushuaia, passing through winter valleys up to Paso Garibaldi, with a stop to take in Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano and one of the most breathtaking views of the Fuegian mountain range. The trip continues along the shore of Lago Fagnano, passes through Tolhuin, and follows Ruta Provincial A to Estancia Cabo San Pablo.
After meeting your hosts and settling into the rooms of the main house, lunch is served — three hearty country-style courses accompanied by spring water and a Patagonian Malbec. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk around the homestead, activities with animals, and a visit to the century-old shearing shed, rounding off with a full afternoon tea in the main house dining room. In the evening, dinner is served at El Tambito, the estancia's favourite corner.
The following morning, after breakfast, visit the Desdémona — the famous shipwreck on the coast — before returning to Ushuaia around midday.
