About the experience
Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego blanketed in snow: ride the world's southernmost railway, explore park viewpoints, Lago Acigami and Bahía Lapataia in the heart of winter.
A thrilling experience exploring the breathtaking snow-covered landscapes of Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego. The first stop is the Tren del Fin del Mundo station — the world's southernmost operating railway — a charming train that connects the station with the national park, with a stop at the La Macarena waterfall.
The tour then visits several scenic viewpoints within the park, some of which are unreachable by other means of transport: the incomparably beautiful Lago Acigami and the famous Bahía Lapataia, where beaver dams and peat bogs can be spotted.
Unlike other national parks in Argentina, this one brings together coastal, forest, lake, river and mountain landscapes — a true synthesis of the island's extraordinary biodiversity. The return to Ushuaia leaves plenty of time to combine the day with an afternoon cruise along the Beagle Channel.
