About the experience
Three nights in Pristine Camps domes 8 km into the Jujuy salt flat: sunsets over the salt, guided constellation interpretation, an archaeological visit to Barrancas with a gourmet picnic, visits to the communities of Alfarcito, and Andean cuisine. A remote luxury experience in the Puna.
4-day, 3-night 'Glamping Argentina at the Great Salt Flats' program, recommended from July to December.
- Day 1: meeting at Tres Morros and transfer to the camp inside Salinas Grandes; afternoon tea, visit to the salt extraction pools, sunset, Andean dinner, and guided constellation observation.
- Day 2: full-day excursion to Barrancas (by vehicle or combined with trekking), including the Municipal Reserve, the 'Piedra Mapa' circuit, and the interpretation center; gourmet picnic on the riverbed and return in time for sunset.
- Day 3: visit to the communities of Alfarcito and Rinconadilla, with lunch at the community guesthouse or at Laguna de Guayatayoc depending on the season; afternoon tea in the domes and a starry night.
- Day 4: breakfast and transfer to the entrance of the salt flats.
