Cerro C4 is part of the Cordón del Chapelco range and offers a challenging trek with extraordinary visual rewards. The trail climbs through lenga beech forest before rising above the tree line, where a high-mountain landscape of grasslands and rock opens up. From the ridge, you take in a sweeping panoramic view spanning Volcán Lanín, lakes Lácar, Lolog and Meliquina, and the vast expanse of the Andes. This hike combines physical effort with the satisfaction of reaching high-altitude terrain in the heart of Parque Nacional Lanín.
